Azam Swati and Fawad Chaudhry’s apologies for their tirade against the election watchdog have been accepted by the ECP
A two-member ECP bench led by Nisar Ahmed Durrani accepted the apologies.
On September 10, Swati and Chaudhry launched a rant against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Swati had blamed the commission for gear votes and said such establishments ought to be “got on fire going”. Officials from the ECP who were present at the meeting walked away after hearing his remarks.
